Appointment of Bill Covell as R&D Controls Specialist
Kadant Johnson accelerates 'Industry 4.0' product development

Kadant Johnson LLC, a subsidiary of Kadant Inc, has confirmed the appointment of Bill Covell to the newly created position of R&D electrical, instrumentation, and controls specialist. In this role, Covell will modernise critical R&D systems with smart technologies to test and develop advanced designs. He will also be the controls and user interface lead for new product development programs.
Covell joined Kadant Johnson in 1996 in the Information Technology group. He has extensive systems and controls knowledge along with Kadant Johnson product experience. He has previously led initiatives in smart connected products, remote diagnostics and prognostics, and controls development.
